Founded around 2000 by owner Crissy Abila, our journey began with a simple mission: to provide exceptional grooming, convenient dog washing, and pampering services for our beloved furry companions. Crissy was a vet tech to begin with and then apprenticed some pet groomers in florida. She then received her grooming certifications and jumped into business! With a passion for animals and a dedication to excellence, Crissy's vision has shaped Hair of the Dog into Gunnison's premier destination for pet grooming, dog washing, and care.
